Meet Dan Gibson - Senior Electronics Specialist

Dan Gibson started at MATCO, Inc. in November 2003. Dan has over 39 years of experience in technology. Before joining MATCO, Dan worked at McDermott Corporation for 35 years as a Technologist. Dan also served in the United States Air Force for four years as a Weapons Control Specialist; he was discharged as a Staff Sergeant. Currently, Dan is MATCO’s Senior Electronics Specialist, and Auger electron spectrometer (AES) operator. Dan also designed and built MATCO’s residual gas analyzer (RGA) for gas analysis, and data acquisition systems. He is an expert in electron beam welding, laser welding and welding automation of GTA, GMA, and SMA systems.
