 
Tom Thomas - Metallograpy & Elastomer Specialist

Tom Thomas became part of the MATCO team in January of 2007. Tom has over 13 years experience in the elastomer industry; from mold design to the development of elastomer formulas. He has played a major role in several company wide continues improvement and kaizen teams. He has experience in advanced projects from ergomic issues to tooling design and demolding methods. Before joining MATCO, Tom worked as the Laboratory Coordinator for Lexington Connector Seals where he was responsible for maintaining and testing materials to QS, ISO, ASTM and SAE specifications as well as many of the following client driven specifications and Delphi, Ford, Chrysler, Tyco and Bosch.
Tom was accredited by Akron University Polymer Center in 2001 with Elastomer Technology and is an Akron University certified Elastomer Technician. He is also certified in Auto CAD R14 by Aztec Technology. Tom has several supervision and safety certificates.
Tom is a very passionate about success. He is a climber, and has climbed such climbs as The Nose on El Capitan in Yosemite to winter ascents up Mt. Washington in New Hampshire. He is dedicated to his family, life and work
